Thanksgiving

This is the first day in about three months where I don't have to go to work, be in class, or drive for six hours. The lack of any structured activity gives my head a funny floaty feeling. Imagine the fact that I did this on and off for a couple of years there.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm back, and trying out a new format. I'm also bimetropolitan right now, so weekday stuff happens over here and weekend stuff happens two columns to the right.

This drive back and forth is going to get the best of me yet. The big advantage this week is that I got the futon into the apartment, and so was able to spend an extra night recovering from the ghastly Accounting midterm.

Can I just mention how big a shock it is to be back in school? Like jumping into the Chicago river in January.
